Some important measurements in Cooking & Baking

Haiii friends....

This is my first post.

I was in a great dilemma about what to post first (like which dress is to wear, for the evening party, from a wardrobe full of dresses!!!). Then thought about posting a simple and easy recipe(slow & steady wins the race!). Suddenly one thing came on my mind...
I always face the problem about measurements while searching for recipes. Sometimes the recipes calls for measurements in Metric units(like grams, litres...), sometimes in Imperial units(like ounce, pound...).
So I think its better to start with measurement conversions than anything else...

·        5ml = 1 teaspoon
·         10ml = 1 dessertspoon
·         15ml = 1 tablespoon
·         30ml = 1 fluid ounce
·         240ml = 1 cup
·         1 litre = 34 fluid ounces
·         100 gram = 3.5 ounces
·         500 gram = 1.10 pounds
·         3 teaspoon = 1 tablespoon
·         1 cup = 16 tablespoon
·         A pinch = 1/8 teaspoon
·         1 cup flour = 150g (5 oz)
·         1 cup caster sugar = 225g (8oz)
·         1 cup brown sugar = 170g (6oz)
·         1 cup uncooked rice = 200g (7oz)
·         1 cup grated cheese = 110g (4oz)
·         1 stick butter = 110g (4oz = 8 tablespoon = 1/2 cup)
